Meet Mary Vegh

My Wall Street experience began 20 years ago as an investor relations professional in Silicon Valley. I learned a great deal about people, business, and how the inside a publicly traded company operates. My investor relations career encompasses four industries in the technology sector: semiconductor, biotechnology, software, and financial services. As an investor relations professional, I was responsible for effectively communicating financial results, business strategies, overall vision and company value to institutional investors, sell-side analysts, and retail investors. In this role, I collaborated with executive level and cross functional teams, analyzing competitors, business situations and developing and implementing practical investor relations strategies to ensure full and fair valuation of the company to its shareholders.

In 2013, I decided to get back to my Midwest roots. It was during this transition that I became interested in the financial advisor role, knowing that I could leverage my investor relations skillset. Coincidentally, this was a career I had considered pursuing while in college and even authored a paper on becoming a ‘Stockbroker.’ I loved the idea of collaborating one-on-one with individuals and families to plan, build and seek to maximize wealth through one of my passions, investing.

In 2014, I transitioned to a financial advisor career with Wells Fargo Advisors and most recently, Edward Jones. Though during this time, I never felt comfortable with the monthly sales goals attached to the role. While I understand the importance of building a thriving business, my preference is to scale my business through client referrals, natural networks and most importantly, at my own pace.

Today, I am President, Financial Advisor of Vegh Wealth Management. My investment firm processes through LPL Financial, the largest, #1 ranked independent broker-dealer in the United States*. As an independent advisor, I now have the flexibility of using comprehensive software technology, seeking to lower cost to clients, and devoting my full attention to servicing clients without monthly sales goals attached to the business.  I believe these are three key ingredients needed to deliver the best possible client experience over the long term.

My hobbies include hiking, travelling, technology, investing and all things Hungarian. I'm a passionate foodie, animal lover and roller coaster enthusiast. My latest hobby is NFL football and the Cincinnati Bengals.

I am a South Bend, Indiana native, John Adams High School Alum and a graduate of Indiana University, Bloomington.

I look forward to helping you pursue your financial goals!
